Our mission at optometry@cooroy is to continue to provide the local community & beyond with high-quality & personalized optometric care. Our optometrists, Heather McLeod & Jennifer Currie, focus on offering a compassionate, individualized & high standard of care. We have the necessary equipment for thorough eye examinations including the instruments to assist in the detection of eye diseases including glaucoma & cataracts for your complete eye health & vision care. Heather & Jenny both believe that good vision goes beyond clear sight measured at distance & includes the ability to accurately acquire & process information received through the eyes. In fact a person can have normal sight & healthy eyes, yet experience difficulties with visual fixation, focus or eye teaming needed for efficient eye function. We are one of the few optometry practices on the Sunshine Coast providing Vision Therapy services. This is a specialty offered by Behavioural Optometrists to further enhance or remediate vision problems in both children & adults. Our service extends beyond the sale of glasses & contact lenses & we are always happy to make frame adjustments & repairs to keep your glasses in the best possible working condition. We also stock a range of accessories, magnifiers, sunglasses, contact lens solutions & non-prescription ophthalmic drops. |
