Optometrist - Jenny Currie
About Us
Jenny graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Optometry) from the University of Melbourne in 1984 & proceeded to enjoy a broad range of work experience in Melbourne, Newcastle & the USA. Along the way she earned Fellowships with the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrists ( ACBO) & the College of Optometrists in Vision Development ( COVD).
A Queenslander by birth, Jenny returned to the Sunshine Coast in 1993 & has been working in the area ever since. She is married with two step-children.
She most enjoys a varied practice helping patients of all ages & has years of experience in general optometry, contact lens practice & children’s vision care including assessment & treatment of visually-related learning problems & binocular vision problems.
Jenny is a mad-keen bicycle tourist & has clocked up thousands of km’s touring parts of Australia, New Zealand & the USA. She founded the Sunshine Coast Bicycle Touring Club in 1994. The club has since grown to more than 200 members.
